ABOUT US
Miss Kelly founded Kelly's Dance Academy in July of 1996 in
New Bedford, Massachusetts. It became an immediate success
due to the combination of her extensive background in working
with children and her love of dance.
Kelly's Dance Academy has been well-known for its creative
stage sets and entertaining recitals that would continue to bring
people back year after year. KDA's over-whelming success is
due to the fact that unlike other studios, we excel in ALL styles
of dance - and our fun atmosphere keeps students coming back
every year.
KDA was highly recognized for it's Regionally and Nationally
Award winning KDA Dance Team. They were awarded the
HIGHEST SCORE awards at both Regional and National levels
as well as awarded Special Judge's Awards at EVERY
competition ever entered into!
After ten wonderful years, Miss Kelly decided to relocate to the
Tampa Bay area and sold her studio to her assistant
choreographer Erin Rapoza. Her former studio is now called
DanceXtreme and continues on with outstanding excellence in
dance.
After teaching locally for one year, Miss Kelly is ready to reopen
Kelly's Dance Academy in the Tampa Bay area and continue to
enrich the lives of influential young dancers by promoting
teamwork and a positive attitude through the love of dance. She
looks forward to continuing the legacy of excellence with your
children.....
